Three All About Learning Press programs
Although the programs share a similar teaching philosophy, each one targets
a different skill area. Placement is based on what your child is ready to
learn rather than simply matching a level number to a school grade.
Reading
📚
All About Reading
All About Reading is a complete, mastery-based reading
program that teaches children how to decode words while also building
vocabulary, fluency, and reading comprehension.
Lessons combine direct instruction with letter tiles, activities,
review, and decodable stories so children practice new skills in more than one way.
- Pre-reading program plus Levels 1–4
- Systematic phonics instruction
- Decodable readers and comprehension activities
- Built-in review and hands-on practice
- Designed for short daily instruction
Spelling
✏️
All About Spelling
All About Spelling provides explicit, sequential
spelling instruction using phonograms, spelling rules, word analysis,
review cards, and multisensory activities.
Instead of relying primarily on weekly spelling lists, students learn
why words are spelled the way they are and build skills incrementally
as concepts are mastered.
- Seven levels of spelling instruction
- Uses the Orton-Gillingham approach
- Phonogram and spelling-rule instruction
- Hands-on practice and cumulative review
- Placement based on skill rather than grade
Math
➗
All About Math
All About Math brings the same open-and-go,
multisensory approach to elementary mathematics. Students move from
concrete, hands-on experiences toward deeper mathematical understanding.
The program emphasizes understanding rather than simply memorizing
procedures and includes guided practice, manipulatives, games, and review.
- Five levels of elementary math
- Hands-on manipulatives
- Mastery-focused instruction
- Fractions, decimals, geometry and more
- Placement tests available
